The recently-opened Peabody bike path has about 4.6 miles completed, in two segments yet to be joined, a 1.8-mile eastern segment and a 2.7-mile western segment A group from Bike-to-the-Sea toured both portions of the path on September 13th. The high point for me was this view of a quarry, seen on the eastern segment. Candor compels me to say the view is not quite this nice, as the quarry is behind a chain link fence, through which I poked the camera lens.--Dan Smith
